What Is The Community Pharmacist Consultation Service?
CPCS is a referral-based NHS service that connects patients with a pharmacist for advice and treatment of minor, low-risk conditions, rather than needing a GP appointment. Referrals typically come from your GP practice or NHS 24, and are sent directly to a participating pharmacy such as ours.

How A CPCS Referral Works
If you contact your GP practice or NHS 24 about a minor condition that could be suitable for pharmacy treatment, you may be referred directly to us. We’ll usually contact you shortly after to arrange a time, often on the same day, to talk through your symptoms and agree the best next steps, whether that’s advice, an over-the-counter treatment, or a referral back to your GP if needed.
Please note: CPCS consultations are arranged through a referral from your GP practice or NHS 24, rather than booked directly with the pharmacy. If you have symptoms you’re concerned about, please contact your GP practice or NHS 24 in the first instance.
